Well I returned to Willow Creek restaurant with my wife and son last Saturday. My wife and I had the prime rib. Perfect. My son had the chicken pasta, perfect , really well done. The service seemed improved, the music wasn’t too loud and it was a very nice night. well done.

If I could put zero I would. The WORST place I have EVER been to. My husband and I went last night at 8:25 and they turned us away and told us they were closed. Tonight we got there at seven no one greeted us we seated ourselves and when a waitress came out she went to the man at the bar and started talking to him about how they closed the kitchen already! She did not even acknowledge us until she came to the table to tell us they would not serve us! Every advertisement for this place states they are open UNTIL 9:00pm and serve food until close!! Why have a business if you choose to run it so POORLY? You lost customers for good that could have become regulars if you would’ve just had any customer service and stuck to what is advertised.

Located in a large Victorian house, this restaurant offers sandwiches at lunch and a full dinner menu including BBQ, chicken, seafood, and Italian dishes. There’s a full bar and although it was very crowded the evening I went, the service was very good. The Beer Batter Cod was excellent, the Chicken Marsala, not so much. The waitress heard our complaints about the chicken and immediately comped us a huge dessert to go.

Not Impressed. We hadn’t been to this place in a long time… nothing has changed and that is not a good thing. At least now they have a Malbec to choose from, that was the best part. The alfredo had way too much garlic (and I LOVE garlic), the fish and chips, the fish had virtually no flavor and the batter was so greasy, hard to eat without smothering in tartar sauce, the chips? just my opinion, but if you are going to charge that much $$$, make the fries fresh, not frozen. The waitress was great! The hostess, not so much. Cool setting, eclectic dcor (should be modern OR Victorian era, not some of everything?)

Willow Creek Restaurant has a charm all it’s own, and, a history. It is a locally owned and operated Prescott special place. Terry and Pat, owners, are welcoming and the servers are really delightful. The food is well prepared, always served hot and the greens in the salad are fresh. I have been going there since 1997 and it is a favorite for me and my family. It is kid friendly, just ask my 4 year old grandson!! German night, fish and chips, and Prime Rib are my favorites. Give it a try when you visit Prescott, you won’t be disappointed!

Fish and Chips. The Beer Batter Cod is offered with 2 or 3 pieces. The fish was moist and flaky with a very light breading and was great. You need to be really hungry to eat the 3 piece version. Comes with soup or salad and your choice of starch.08 Dec, 2012Victorian Homestyle.
