Disappointing. We dined at Augie’s this evening and the best thing about the place was our server Tami! We were a party of 12 and she handled us beautifully, including separate checks. Bartender was SLOW….we had to wait too long for our wine. Food came slowly, not even close to all at the same time. Most of us were nearly finished eating by the time 2 people received their orders. Then dishes weren’t cleared in a timely manner and checks were not brought for a long time. I had the shrimp stir-fry which was so-so and my husband had the ribeye which he liked. Wine by the glass didn’t appear to be even a 6oz. pour. We each had 2 $8.00 glasses. For a total of $71+ for the two of us, we expected better and probably won’t return. We often dine out in the Prescott area with this group, and always have better food and service at the Bonn Fire in C.V., Papa’s, and even the Olive Garden.
Father’s day dinner. We had a very nice time at Augie’s. The food was really good, especially the plank salmon. The manhattan was a little watered down, like it had been sitting and they had to re-shake it, The service was really on the ball, almost to the point of being obnoxious.
5 STAR. My wife and I are recent transplants from the metro Detroit area, and currently live in Maricopa. Today we drove up to Prescott for the first time for some kayaking, and on the way home decided to stop for dinner. We stopped at Augie’s just out of luck. The ENTIRE wait staff was exceedingly friendly and anxious to help us. The food was fabulous,……. everything on our plates was 5 star quality, and we had the opportunity to meet and spend time visiting and talking with Augie, a first rate gentleman. The entire experience was so awesome, we left there saying to each other that the next time we go out to eat………. we’ll drive the 2 hours from Maricopa, just to see Augie and the crew.
This is our go-to place that has never disappointed. Our appetizer is grilled artichoke, perfect everytime. Our salad is the watermellon salad which we split (no plating charge). Finally, our entree is the lamb chops-outstanding every time. We usually split that too as the portions are generous. I suggest others try this menu and see if you are pleased as we are.
Terrible!. We tried this new restaurant. I ordered the Liver and Onions, my husband had the steak.Waited forever for the food. Did not serve bread with meal. My liver was the worst took a bite and left the rest.My husband’s steak he asked for rare was medium. We ordered salads, and by the time the check came we were ready to walk out.This restaurant will never last!
Waiter. The Food was good but was turned off by our waiter he was unresponsive when we asked questions about the menu. He would not look at us when asking what we would like. He appeared unclean. Not a very professional look for a nice Restaurant. His name started with a K.
We went last night. The pot roast was cold even after heating it a second time. The ribeye was nice. Spoke to Augie and he said he was sorry but that was it.
