Seaweed Salad. Awesomeness….
Saimin a Hawaiian Favorite. Hawaiian/Japanese skinny noodles with fish cake, BBQ slice pork, green onions, sliced strip egg, Spam,in a chicken broth. Yummy! From a regular.. Bau!It’s not on the menu but would love it if it was.Just a suggestion. Their food is great. I loved the Kama and Sashimi dinner
This was the worst sushi I have ever had in my life. It looked like the sushi had been sitting around for days. The rice was discolored because of the carrots, and pickles. Everything was bland, and server was rarely seen to check on us. Would NOT recommend this resturant.
Revisit. This Japanese restaurant has a decent decor and an animated crowd of regular patrons. The sushi is good (see picture) but I think the rolls are sub-par compared to other places. Spider rolls were small diameter and tasted mostly of fried breading. California rolls were mostly cheesy filling. The seaweed salad (see picture) is good but is oddly found on the sushi order sheet instead of on the menu. Hot tea tasted like Lipton. I still like this place but if you want food to go or don’t care about atmosphere, Sushi J Express in PV is 2/3 the price and much better while Esoji downtown is 50% more expensive and much classier.17 Nov, 2011Straightforward. A good Japanese restaurant. Nothing fancy. One choice of Sake. Esoji is better, but costs twice as much, so this is the bargain choice in town.
This is an excellent, authentic Japanese restaurant. Start out with the miso soup, and some of their hot tea. Then, you can go one of a few ways: get some entrees, get some sushi, or both. Their sushi makes a great dinner, but beware of spice! Some of them are spicy, some are not. But all are amazing!
We are frequent patrons here. Love their sushi! Love all their food!
Great Sushi but waited an hour after ordering for the food. It was 6:00 pm though.
