Another great visit 02/08/2014. Second trip in another wonderful meal (smoked prime rib is everyone’s favorite). We were fortunate to get Patty as our server again, this time we noticed the owner checking all the tables. Very nice touch. The beer selection is good. See ya soon ;-)21 Dec, 2013Great service. Our family went on a Saturday afternoon our server was Patty and she was FANTASTIC not only did we have great food but a great time to boot… We will be back and hopefully she will be working. What’s so good about this?. We went here for a great steak, and this was one of the highest rated places. It was very busy for a Sunday night. My husband ordered the 8 oz filet, and I ordered the mesquite smoked chicken. The filet was cooked as ordered (med. rare), and the chicken was a very large portion smothered with BBQ sauce. All I can say is, it was good, not great. Chicken a bit dry with the white meat, but good smokiness to it. BBQ sauce also good, but nothing special. Filet OK. Again, nothing really to write home about, and for all the rave reviews, not worth the drive or the cost.
I eat at Leff T’s about once a month. It’s well worth the drive from Phoenix especially in the simmer to get out if the heat. I usually get the chicken fried steak or hot meatloaf sandwich. Yes they are fattening but ohhhhhh so good. Leff T’s rocks!
