Outdated and filthy. This place needs a cleaning and then to be cleaned again. the food was greasy and stale too… not on my revisit list.

This was our first trip to olivias. Unfortunately we did not enjoy it. Although the staff was pretty friendly the food was really awful, and the restaurant itself looks like it needs a make over. (Blurry, cheep menu with several grammatical errors. Dark and dusty. Needs a deep cleaning.) I ordered two beef tacos with rice and beans, my husband had a burrito with rice and beans. Chips and salsa weren’t terrible but our entrees were inedible. I had one bite of the taco and it was very, very greasy and the meat was chewy and tasted old. The rice was crunchy and stale and the beans were very bland and crusty on the top from sitting under the heat lamp too long. I didn’t eat any more but my husband ate his simply because he eats basically anything but he wasn’t pleased with the taste. We barely saw our server and she was always rushing when we came to us anyways so we just decided to pay and get out of there. This place was recommended by a friend but we will not be returning.

They do NOT have sopapillas! They have a cinnamon sopapilla with butter & honey. Don’t ask for a side of sopapillas you’ll get the cinnamon one. Disappointed but great burrito and tostada!

WOW. Not sure if it was just an off night or what… We have eaten here many times, seems like the food has been going downhill for quite awhile. I believe a cheese crisp should in fact be crisp and not soft and runny with grease… Beans were very non-descript, bland. Rice was equally as bad, soggy rice… won’t be going back there again.

    Awesome!!!!!

Wow. I’m pretty surprised and disappointed that nobody has reviewed this place and less than 70% of people like it so far. I think they have the best chile verde and red enchilada sauce I’ve ever had. My husband is partial to anything made with their shredded beef. Our buddy who always gets pollo fundido (Oliva’s specialty supposedly) says it’s good, but still prefers the Garcia’s version better. Hubby loves the matador burger (perfect for you gringos) and the rellenos as well. The chips, salsa & hot sauce are also exceptional.
