Cozy atmosphere with wonderful breakfast aromas. Staff is very friendly, great for a chat. Had to wait a bit for a menu and water, but received my order quite promptly. Ordered the Gyro, one of few available in the Prescott area. Loved their side options: fries, sweet potato fries, onion rings, or 50/50! Of course I went 50/50. The $7.99 sandwich was filling (flatbread stuffed with lettuce, tomato, red onion, beef gyro meat-missing oregano and feta)andthe tzatziki sauce was flavorful & tangy (missing mint). Nonetheless, I was completely satisfied to get my Gyro fix. I finished the meal with a slice of fresh strawberry pie ($3.99 on own or $2.99 when ordered with meal). Mountain of glazed strawberries topped with whipped cream- I could hardly find the crust! I can’t wait to come back for Chicken Fried Steak and Coconut Cream Pie!
Impressed. I don’t expect a gourmet restaurant in a shopping center, but Sally B’s impresses me with it uniqueness and true family feeling when we are there. The food is great and if you let it sit on your tongue for a while you’ll discover the different flavors that keep us coming back. 5 stars for this place.
Dinner review. Like the Blue Hills Cafe down the road in Dewey, the typical dinner here is an institiutional chicken fried steak patty with mashed potatoes, white gravy, and corn out of a 10lb can. But hey, it’s cheap!
