I’ve gone here several times because I live in the area. I really want local businesses to succeed but the food here is really disappointing. One day I was served raw red chicken which is a show to the person at the counter who is not impressed. On another occasion I ordered the shrimp which was overcooked & dry. I can’t see how this place stays open . What a contrast to the good quality of food at Asian Sky restaurant in the same plaza.
Should be closed. I went in and ordered the Loco Moco at the Sahuarita restuarant. Had to wait forever for the food. Once I got it, I could had done better at McDonald’s. The rice looked just thrown on with basically a hamburger patty with a egg over easy with a runny yolk. What made it even worst was when I cut into the hamburger patty. It wasn’t cooked in the middle. I turned it and the clerk, first stated she could not return my money due to their was no manager there. She got on the phone and after returning only partly refunded my meal order. It was one of the worst meal experiences while living here in Tucson. The other experiences that I’ve had in there are that the food always seems to be overcooked or been sitting for a while. I would not recommend this place.
Very Good. We went there for the first time on 2 Sept and received fast friendly service. We ordered 2 plates of beef teriyaki with rice and macaroni salad. The bill was $19 and some change with drinks. The food was extremely satisfying and more than we could finish. Overall, it was a rarity in food service; we have become accustomed to mediocre food and so-so service but this place was far better than expected.
BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. I’m not sure where to start. First of all I really wanted to like your place, however the wait was terrible… Then came the food. The plate I had was with beef, pork, and chicken. The beef was tougher than beef jerky, the sauce on it was nothing more than I could get at Panda Express. The pork, oh the pork. I was really looking forward to the pork. Then I tasted it. I should have just grabbed a salt shaker and poured it in my mouth, yeah… It was that salty. Honestly the chicken was OKAY, just okay. It was dry and relatively flavorless but it was better than the rest. Overall, I want to go back out of convience but my taste buds and stomach beg me not to.
