Great place to dine and watch sports.. I have eaten at 18 Degrees about 5 times now. Each time I have been impressed with the food and the service. On a couple of occasions I brought my wife and kids. My boys really enjoyed watching the skaters and playing the video games. The other times were during lunch and I find it to be a great place to eat and get some work done. The free WIFI along with the Virtual Sports setup is great. I would highly recommend 18 degrees to anyone looking for a great new place to dine in North Scottsdale.
Horrible Service – So So Food. Went about a month ago with 3 other people. It took forever to be seated even though the restaurant was only 1/4 full. We ordered our drinks and then after waiting for at least 5 – 7 minutes (watching all the servers gather around the machine and the end of the bar) I finally stood up and asked if we could place our order for food. Food took awhile and when it arrived it was just dropped off – the server never came back or he would have realized that we didn’t have silverware, ketchup, mustard, napkins, you know the basics. When it came time to leave we waited at least 15 minutes, with dirty plates on the table, for the server to come back with the check. Finally approached the manager and told him of our experience, still no check by the way. Manager was able to pull up our tab and gave it to us. He didn’t comp a thing – even a kids’ lemonade. I vowed never to go back. However, recently my son really wanted to go so he could watch the skaters while we had lunch. I obliged. We walked in and were told that we could sit anywhere we wanted. Maybe 3 – 4 tables had people at them and there were two people at the bar. We tried 4 tables before we found one that was clean. My son and I ordered drinks and they came out pretty quickly. We than sat for 14 minutes before someone came over to take our order – again there were 4 servers and what seemed to be a manager on duty – and five tables with people. Again – all the servers and manager were huddled around and leaning against the bar and the computer. When we finally were approached to order I asked for the check for the drinks and we left. Food is so-so, service is horrible which is a shame because otherwise it could be a cool neighborhood spot.
Horrible! You’re better off with stuff from a gas station vending machine
