The whole meal takes a lot of time, but the service was great and our cook was great and very entertaining. It can get pricy, but you do get a lot of food. The flavors in the food were awesome. It was my first time here and I was really impressed. I got the hibachi steak and my girlfriend got the surf side. We also got the chicken fried rice and sushi as an appetizer. The seafood and the steak were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Definitely coming back in the future.
I was not disappointed. We were on our way to stingray for Friday hh and thought lets fur Benihana a try. Both ordered the chicken hibachi which came with soup, salad, rice, vegetables, chicken, sauted mushrooms and shrimp for $18.5. I couldn’t get enough of the flavor, the spices were amazing. We also ordered three sushi rolls which were good. The only complaint is that the waitress kind of forgot our rice and we had to remind her and my bfs beer wasn’t refilled so he was drinking my water. Otherwise it was not a bad choice.

Sushi bar. If you just can’t wait for a tasty raw fish treat, skip the teppan tables and go straight to the sushi bar. In 3 1/2 years, I’ve never had to wait for a table, even during the busiest of times. The sushi is excellent, the staff is great, the conversations with the sushi chefs is nothing short of entertaining, and you simply can’t beat the prices.Benihana might be a little more expensive than your regular hole-in-the-wall, but there is something to say for the consistency. Give it a try – if you actually enjoy sushi, you will actually enjoy this place.
