Found it after randomly searching for breakfast. Cute little place! I had steel cut oats with fruit and a frozen latte which we’re delicious and my husband had an apple streusel muffin and a frozen latte which was equally delicious! We’ll be going back today!
Very clean and nice atmosphere inside. Free wi-fi works well. Good selection of drinks though more expensive than I was expecting.
I honestly don’t know what to say. My husband raved about this place so I decided to try it for myself. I ordered the roast beef sandwich, a cup of the spicy sausage soup and a smoothie. GOOD: the roast beef was very moist and the size of the sandwich was fairly big, enough for two people, which is good considering the price of the food here. The toppings were fresh. The smoothie was very good and refreshing. I recommend the Scottsdale Sunrise.BAD: the ‘spicy sausage’ soup was anything but. No seasonings and no taste. It tasted like I was eating a bowl of water. UGLY: for everything above I paid a little over $17 which would have been ok if the soup wasn’t so poor. Also for a place that promotes fresh and healthy, it would have been nice to get homemade chips instead of a small bag of Lays that are super greasy and un-healthy. Overall the place was a 7 out of 10. Sad to say, I will not be coming back for anything unless it is for a smoothie.
Thus place is great! I have been going there multiple times each week since it opened. Thier coffer is fresh roasted in small batches and is excellent brewed or in lattes. The other reviewer is also exactly right, cold brewing is the way to go to avoid a watered down latte and get maximum flavor. Thier smoothies are also delicious and you have to go in for the omlette bar on Sundays. Great local shop with awesome friendly staff!
I really want to like this place because it is right across the street, but everything time I give it another chance I’m disappointed. For the quality of the food the place is a little over priced. It is basically food you can make at home. The coffee was cold once, the soup was way too salty another, and today the eggs were cold in my breakfast burrito. One time my boyfriend and I went through the drive through and when he picked up his coffee to take his first drink the lid popped right off and spilled in his lap. The cup was too thin and cheap. I’m never going back here again.
Nice coffee!. Cold brewed coffee is the ONLY way to make good iced coffee! it’s a newer technique that makes for a great glass. this stuff is addicting. my new fav
I want to like this joint because it’s close to home but when I pay for an iced lattee it should be brewed fresh and not poured out of a jug into a cup of ice.
