Some Sugar While You Shop. The new Caketini shop in Scottsdale Fashion square is tucked into the second level just beside Nordstrom. A variety of cupcakes (mini and regular), cheesecake, and just plain old regular cake are offered. I picked out a tuxedo cupcake, which has a base of white & chocolate cake, a filling of white chocolate and chocolate chips, and whipped cream icing. It was as tasty as it sounds!My only beef with the place was that I ordered a large soft drink, and my cup was filled with, literally, about 80% ice. Fountain drinks are already so inexpensive, why make the customer feel so ripped off when it’s saving you so little? Anyway, I’d recommend this place if you need a sugar rush in the midst of a long shopping day. Just be sure to ask for no ice in your drink.
