Take a trip to Chi town via ChiZona’s. Sports memorabilia on the walls, TVs for watching the game, and the best Italian beef sandwich I’ve had in a very long time. If you’re in the mood for pizza, go somewhere else. Unless you enjoy pizza toppings on a cracker. The fries were tasteless so I’d probably go with a salad next time. Even though this wasn’t a smash hit, I will definitely be back for the Italian beef and the everyone knows your name vibe.
Something Changed. I used go here for Pizza regularly and had not been in a while. Recently I ordered one and this is what I have to say. The pie was ok at best, and for the price of over $20 with two toppings (and this was their Big Chizona special) it should be great. I could have gone to Bashas across the street for $7 and had a better frozen pizza. It was a Monday night and the place was empty. It is telling that they didnt even need my name to get my Pizza, as I must have been their only order. There was a young man working there with long hair sticking out from under his cap that could land on my pizza. Lastly the place did not appear clean at all. I understand maybe there was a dinner rush, however this was not new dirt. The place seemed sad and old frankly.23 Feb, 2012GREAT DOGS & FRIES. I am not from Chicago, but certainly appreciate a good hot dog with ALL the fixings! Simply delicious all beef dog. The fries will spoil you for all others. Always fresh out of the fryer and a huge serving. The price is right too. Their pizza is very good but I make the trip for their dogs.
The customer isn’t right at Chizona’s!!!. Ordered from them after viewing their website…price listed on THEIR web page was $16.99 for 16 inch cheese pizza and 24 wings. I was charged $21.99 and told to call Dave to get it fixed. Called Dave and he told me that that price was 5 years old and he wouldn’t credit me the $5 today but would basically give me a $5 credit on my next order! Bad business…arguing with the customer over $5 on their mistake and not issuing a measly $5 credit on my credit card! I will NEVER go back!!!
HORRIBLE. Rude employess, bad food and if they get your order wrong they tell you that you should just find somewhere else to eat. I WILL NEVER ORDER HERE AGAIN!!!!!!
