Love this pace and have been many times but please, don’t order the chicken tikka pasty. As a proud Indian cook and foodie, it is not what it should be. The beer selection is great. I wish they had a better happy hour but it is comfort food at its best and I love it.

Nice place for a drink and snack. We had the tikka pasty and honey wings. Both tasted delicious. The mule cocktail was good. I was a bit disappointed they were out of most of their 4 peaks options. Also, inside it was a bit loud which would have been ok except our bartender wouldn’t speak up enough for us to hear her across the bar. The Lagunitas ipa was enjoyable.

MANY choices including vegetarian of Just delicious in a tasty light crisp crust. I went with the traditional pasty of beef, onions, potatoes and rutabagas packed in a light crisp crust. The meat was seasoned just so and was delicious on it’s own but when you hit it with the wine gravy it really popped into super delicious. My husband had the Mexican pasty and really enjoyed that one too. They offer so many different kinds you will have a hard time deciding. I note they can be filling. I ate half and took half home and that was just right for me at lunch time time but my husband ate the whole thing. Our waiter was very pleasant and even gave me more sauce to take home with my half pasty I took home. They don’t have many parking spaces but there is plenty of parking right across the street by the old town shops.

Service is terrible! We’ve waited over an hour for our food. Our absent waiter actually tried to bring us our check because he thought we had eaten and our table had been cleared. Waiters also brought the wrong food to our tables twice. Love the food when I’ve been before, but I won’t be back to this location.18 Mar, 2014Really good food, pitiful service. We waited over an hour for two pasties. When I asked someone to check our order after an hour, he came back and said there were some big groups ahead of our order. That may be, but I don’t consider that an acceptable excuse to wait over an hour for food in a restaurant that is is not that busy at all tonight.
