Drexyl is a Modern American Restaurant. The atmosphere is a mix of classic with modern retro. On the night I was there the background music was the old fashioned kind like from the 30’s or 40’s. It was kind of fun to listen to. We started with the Ahi Tuna Trio. They were tacos with jicama shells. They were very tasty with charred slaw. They were very flavorful and very light and easy to eat. For dinner I had the Jade Pesto Halibut. The fish was sweet moist and flaky but wasn’t seared. The pesto and curry sauce added interest to the plate and the sides of black rice and bok-choy rounded it out. My husband had the Cola Braised Pork. He enjoyed everything on his plate but he said the potatoes were good for him but he said they’d be too salty for me. Our server was really great! She was very friendly, cheerful and efficient. The food was tasty and I plan to re-vist.
