The initial service was bad. A friend got there early to get a table for eight. When we got there the door girls stood around and looked puzzled and then told us our friend was seated upstairs. He wasn’t and they had set two separate tables, which we assumed wasn’t us. Finally we got sat downstairs and all was well. Our waiter was awesome and so was the food. The chicken roll appetizer is a must. They need to hire new hostesses though.
Food is good. Beer tastes watered down. I still have yet to find a decent brewery in Arizona.
Good beer, OK food. Busy night, but were seated after about a 20 minute wait. Opted for the beer sampler, Kilt Lifter was definitely a winner! The wings were fantastic, we had the Oatmeal Stout BBQ. Sauce was great! Southwest burger was good, not enough heat to scare anybody off. Chicken strips were disappointing. Not a lot of flavour, and definitey got some fishy taste, probably from using the same oil as the fish & chips. Manager stopped by and offered to replace them, but we were good at that point, just passing on some constructive feedback.
Really liked the beers – especially the peach and the hop. The Thai hummus was a bit too spicy to be enjoyable – great pita, though. The spouse filled up on a chef salad
Awesome food. I had an awesome blackened steak that was a feature of the night. Should really be a normal menu item, it was amazing. Very busy place but the food arrival was reasonable and service was great. Overall I would definately recommend for good reasonably priced food. Scottsdale us full of snooty overpriced food so this was a nice change.
This is our favorite place. Great for families during the day and awesome happy hour for the big kids. Try the hummus and beer bread. By far best brewery in town-be careful with the Kilt Lifters because they sneek up on you. Oh and Sunday brunch just makes it an even better place..!!!!
Chicken rolls and popper burger were delish! I split the burger with my hubby. Plenty of food!
