Great vegetarian option in North Scottsdale. The Summer Rolls are delicious and light, with wonderful Peanut Sauce. Also had the Pho, which was great! Perfect healthier option for a lunch escape. I suggest dining in, although they do offer take out I believe.
Excellent food every time. Every dish I have tried here has been a delight. I am sorry they did not find a bit nicer location. I have eaten here several times and never disappointed.
Fantastic!. Im ovo-vegetarian and we went there twice while visiting (I asked to go back). Had the lemongrass tofu and probably all the different appetizer rolls. Absolutely wonderful. I’m definitely not a dessert person but the banana fritters are to die for. Best dessert I’ve ever had. Can’t say enou about the food and the staff is the owning family. Loved it and would definitely go back.
WOW. Great place to eat. The soup is unreal. Make sure you get a lemonade too.
You may never eat tofu again.. If I had been a vegetarian when I visited Fresh Mint, I would not be one now, strictly on the premise of NOT wanting to be associated with this poor excuse for food. Fresh Mint is a slap in the face to those of the various veg persuasions. The food is simply not worth the price. Vegetables may not come cheap, but for the quality of preparation, the amount you will pay for lunch verges on criminal. Never mind that the store itself isn’t well taken care of or thought out. Many of the tables are right next to the kitchen/counter. And the counter, when we visited, was covered in a layer of dust that I can only describe as fuzzy. Fresh Mint serves an assortment of smoothies and other blended beverages, the mixers for which are pretty much IN the dining area and make conversation impossible when running. My ears were ringing when we left. Our server was pleasant enough, especially considering how busy it was. Why it was busy, however. That eludes me.I did not find my appetizer good or bad. Several people below me specifically objected to the summer rolls, but I’ve had both much better and much worse. It was the entre that really turned me off, tasting of molasses and Kikoman and vegetables that might have been in better shape last week. I could still taste it some hours after leaving the premises, as if the lackluster cuisine had followed me home. My dining companion expressed that she was in a similar situation.Nothing fresh about this place. Imagine it, rather, wilted, sad and begging to be trodden upon.
We need one of these on every corner. The food here is delicious. The Pho is perfect everytime and if you think you need a side, try the miso potatoes. Have yet to try something here I did not enjoy (visited over 2 doz times). The portions are huge so plan to take some home because you have to get dessert. The tapioca and fried bananas will make you lick the plate.
Don’t see the attraction. I was looking for a healthy place to eat, stopped in for lunch. First thing I noticed was that everything seemed way over-priced, but I thought I would give it a try anyway. It took a long time to get my order and when I did, it was a very small portion. I thought for the price I paid at least it would have been larger than it was.I can’t eat real spicy food, so when I ordered I told the person taking my order that I needed something that was not spicy and I noticed most everything had onions in it. He told me they could make it any way I liked, so I ordered something without onions. The forst bite I took set my mouth on fire and I began choking it was so hot. I could not eat it and ended up just leaving and walking over to the Chinese place.. For what I paid I was really disapointed. I don’t see the attraction, but I guess to each there own…I will not be back.
