I’ve been coming to this place for a several years with my grandmother. Though lately it seems the service has dipped significantly. Last time I ate in service was incredibly slow. It took over 30 minutes to have someone ask us about drinks which forced us to order food and drinks at the same time. The waiter then never came back by until to drop off the bill. Then tonight I ordered takeout. I called it in while on the road from San Diego when I was 20 minutes out. The person taking my order seemed confused at the items (mainly the anejo shrimp platter) that I wanted. Then I show up to pick it up and the order did not even exist. So I had to wait, after 5 hours on the road, for them to cook my original order. And yes I still had to pay for the full order. There was no offer to comp one item or even have a manager come apologize at a bare minimum. Needless to say I will not be going back there ever again. And it is not just because of these two instances, there were multiple times but just seems it keeps getting worse and worse. It’s sad that this restaurant used to be really good and now it is way below par.
