Bad Service Confirmed…. I, too, was staying at the resort this place is attached to. While not a carbon copy of the previous review, there were definite issues with getting the food, and apathetic attitudes the whole dining experience. It took a noticeably long time for everything to come out, and the place was pretty dead as far as customers go. A burger and a turkey club ain’t rocket science folks. And indeed, the mean little mushroom gal who was the bartender/server was the least friendly person we encountered at the resort all week long. No wonder this joint wasn’t packed on the first day of March Madness. Complimentary breakfasts here were appreciated, but did not make up for the lousy attitude encountered in the evening…
Awful service. I was staying at the adjacent hotel and needed a quick simple meal. I entered the restaurant and there was not an employee in sight, nor a sign to seat yourself. The whole place has a shabby, stale feeling to it. When the waitress appeared, I asked her if I could still order from the happy hour menu. She did not know. I asked her if they had a particular beer on tap. She did not know. It soon became apparent that it was her first day on the job and she had been thrown in with no training. I ordered a burger and a beer. The beer came quickly, but I waited a half hour for the burger. I had long since finished my beer, but was not offered a second. Then another waitress came up and asked me if I wanted my check. I told her I had not yet eaten but would pay for my beer and leave. Which I did.You might think the place was busy, but it was not. There were 4 other parties in the place, all of whom had been served before I got there. I will not return to this restaurant.
Fantastic Service!. First time in AZ and cannot say enough about Jaxon’s- good times!The atmosphere and the food were fantastic, but what made us comingback was our server, Amanda- extremely attentive, funny, and gorgeous.We will definitely recommend your business to our friends!
Check out Jaxon’s. I love the bartenders they are really nice and the food is amazing. Try the pasta or the fried Oreos. The fires are good too.11 Jan, 2012Great food!. Jaxon’s kicks ass! The food is great and the drink specials are cheap.
