I love this place. Pleasant ambiance clean, pretty hammered metal Indian style dishware, smells fresh and clean like roses. I love the Saag paneer and veggie korma, all the sauces are authentic and yummy. Good clean food. The only negative is that it’s not all organic and hormone free, but this is Scottsdale after all… Most don’t even know the definition of organic… It’s tricky to find but well worth the effort . I am an Indian food enthusiast, I travel and eat all over the US and honestly I’m writting this review because I want this place to be here when ever I return to Scottsdale.

Nice Food, Needs Updating, Not Wow. Good Things:Well seasoned flavorful sauces. Quick service even on a Friday night.Negative:Dirty Wine Glass. All meats where overcooked and very dry.Place needs updating, dirty carpet, bad lighting, strange music playing, bland decor, blaring TV from bar area (should go).Old dented metal serving dishes. If you’ve never been there before you will have trouble finding it. Overall: Just Okwould not go back.

Tasty, High Quality and Food Allergy Friendly. The owner, the waiter and others were wonderful with helping my wife and I to find foods that would accomodate our likes and dislikes. Aside from the restaurant distinguishing itself from many other indian restaurants with high quality foods, Jewel doesn’t use heavy creams and fillers to create taste. Their slow cooking process enhances the flavors naturally; not to mention their chef’s skills. People with gluten related allergies will find this restaurant to be bountiful with options all of which are quite tasty. The decor and ambiance were tastefully upscale. Clearly a favorite for many locals. When we left the restaurant, every table was occupied. A must try!

Good food…very slow service!. I made the trip to Jewel of the Crown recently. The restaurant has a nice location in the heart of old-town Scottsdale and has both indoor and outdoor seating! The restaurant’s decor is quite pleasing to the eye. I had a meal consisting of Chicken Masala, Garlic Naan, and Vegetable Samosas. The food was quite flavorful. However, the service was a bit slow…surprising considering the few customers the place had. I would recommend this restaurant to others.

Wow!. I have been going to this place since I was young and it was in a different location. It is by far the best Indian food I have had. The curries and saag and naan and the list goes on and on. I love the atmosphere of the restaraunt and the service is awesome. I miss the lunch buffet from long ago though. All you can eat naan, ahhhh…

Finally fine indian dining that tastes as authentic as a place in new delhi. Nice ambience and excellent service. An experience to remember. Food was well worth the price

Expensive – but good. A great location for dinner before going to the theatre. Good quality and traditionally flavored Indian food with great flavors. Pricey, but good!
