Not the best. This is an old very dated restaurant that offers their versions of classic Italian dishes. Just look at the photo of the Florentine Cannelloni and you can tell how it taste. The Salmon Francesca had a very strong overpowering sour sauce that hid the taste of the salmon. After two bites I then knew why the sauce was so strong. It needed to cover the fish taste. The Italian Potatoes were the best part of the meal. The service was very friendly and entertaining. This restaurant always offers a bunch of discounts and coupons everywhere. Now I know why.
That was the most dreadful meal we have ever had!!!! The place needs to be shut down and put out of the patrons misery!Do they even have a chef? It tasted like frozen food!!! The place is in dire need of cleaning and remodeling! We spent $90.00 and had to go eat somewhere else afterwards. Safe your money, the whole experience is bad!!!!
This is my favorite restuarant! I always order the tortellini which is delicious! Other great options include wedding soup and for kids you can get a bowl of pasta or macoroni. Then comes dessert which is the best! I get the new York cheesecake! Yum!
Disappointing – value for price. I bought a groupon for here because I love Italian food. Everything on the menu was ala carte and the main entree dishes were quite expensive! ($21 for a bowl of spaghetti without salad??) The taste of the food was average, low when you consider the price paid. Definitely won’t go here again as there are too many good, reasonable Italian places to eat in Scottsdale!
High Price, Med fare. We ate here in mid August. Food was good, but obviously not as good as the owners thought it was for the price. We must have had the same joker server as another reviewer, it sort of spoiled the nice dinner out we were looking for. Like I said, food was good……but we will keep trying for a place to enjoy without a comedy side show.
Amazing Night!. Excellent! Service, ambiance (especially art), and the food; home-made tiramisu after perfect butternut squash ravioli. Our waiter selected the perfect wine, and then decanted it so the smooth finish came through faster. Well worth the time and enjoyment.
Incredible food, wine and service!. The best in town! I live in the Biltmore area and make the drive regularly for the great food and service. Not to many of the best rated Italian restaurants in this town I have not been to, eat out 5-7 nights a week. I like independently owned restaurants food the best and this is a favorite and for sure my favorite Italian. Try the chicken ceaser for lunch, the butternut squash or the pasta bolognese. Beautiful wine selection also. Enjoy!
