Lamp Pizzeria serves wood oven Neapolitan Style Pizzas, very good salads and more. They offer some items that you don’t normally come by from pizza places like Sicilian Stuffed Bread, Calabrian chile oil and house made Sicilian Style Sausage. Lamp Pizzeria offers inside and a small outdoor patio that is dog friendly. We shared a Union Salad that was very generous in size, contained fresh greens, provolone cheese, sweet tomatoes, toasted pine nuts and delicious charred crusty bread. We also shared the Grandma Pizza. This pizza was very flavorful with tomato, provolone cheese, garlic and crushed chiles. The dough was flavorful and charred just right. This was a nice light thin pizza that doesn’t weigh you down. Service and everything was great.
Great pick thanks to other reviews. Fig/Goat Cheese Brushetta was amazing…red sauce on the pizzas was very fresh tasting and the dough was crisp and unobtrusive really giving you a chance to focus on the toppings. If this was closer to us we’d be regulars in a heartbeat.
There pizza is outstanding. The best for Scottsdale. If you are looking for standard pizza there are a few good ones here but for quality and taste this is the best around. As a former New Yorker I can be picky.
