Terrible. Went to biltmore location, excited for it’s Asian menu.both my husband and I are vegetarians, not vegans, the hostess assured us that they can make anything to suit our needs. The place was empty except for two tables. The waitress was impatient and rude. When I requested and insisted on no fish sauce or oyster sauce etc, she seemed to losr her patience saying I get it m,am! Food was good, the device was terrible, felt we were being singled out.maybe not hip enough for her! Though the food was good, will not be returning and will not recommend to my other groups. We usually dine out once or twice a month at fav restaurants, but for sure not this one. Almost did not want to tip her and wanted to confront her for bad attitude, but chickened out.
Great surprise!. We’ve been aware of L&L since it opened, but were turned off by the food image in the original ads. Recently a friend suggested lunch there. I had meatloaf, which was great. A couple weeks later other friends suggested L&L for dinner, and again I was impressed — not just with the meatloaf, which I had again, but also with my wife’s orange chicken. The other day we stopped in for dinner, and I got Evil Jungle Princess — as the menu says, this is not a place for boring food. L&L is definitely a new addition to our stable of favorites.
AMAZING. Being a vegetarian it is very hard to find a place that will substitute out the meat and will cook the tofu correctly, but Ling and Louie’s did an amazing job! I ordered the Honey Walnut Chicken, with tofu of course, and it was absolutely superb and the service was great. The tofu was cooked to perfection. The nachos were great as well and the group I was with got both desserts and they were equally delicious. The atmosphere was very relaxed and I left happy and full. Thanks Ling & Louie’s!
Tasty with Great Service. This was my first vist to Ling & Louie’s but instantly felt right at home after I was promptly seated during a busy lunch rush. My waiter, Tyler, if I recall correctly, was very attentive, bringing me a bevereage shortly after ordering it. I decided on Hot Green Tea since I hadn’t had my regular dose of caffeine in the a.m. The tea pot was shaped like a mini-pac-man with a tail. So cute, I still wonder where they got it from.I quickly decided on the Black Orchid Tuna appetizer. I was considerably pleased with tenderness and delicacy of it. I only wish the cole slaw that was underneath had a touch of acidity. Perhaps with citrus or vinegar . . . hmmm. The portion of pickled ginger was piled high. Crunch, crunch, yum!!!The main was an easy decision because I adore Pad-Thai & was quite curious to see what this New Wave version was all about. It arrived to my table with no delay quite quickly after my appetizer plate was cleared. It smelled divine. One juicy lime wedge was nestled upon this glorious bowl of noodles. Hooray! It’s so tough to find juicy limes in the bar scene in the desert. I stirred it up and was saddened to find only 3 small shrimp in this dish when the menu reads it as the main ingredient after rice noodles. The taste was reminiscent of Pad – Thai although it had a beefy robust flavor that I was not used to. The chicken pieces were large and tender, although I found myself wanting them to be half their size so that they would intermingle more fliudly with the noodles. All in all it was a positive experience and I will most likely recommend it to my friends that live in the area.
Rich Flavorful Food. Have been here twice for dinner and take out a couple times love thier soups the Tom Kha Gai is amazing but very rich so be careful not to eat to much and upset your stomach which is easy to do. Prices are resonalble atmosphone is neat. Try the Evil Jungle Princess Chicken or Beef and the Drunken Shrimp and you will have a great dining experience.
Great food, kid friendly without being a Peter Piper type spot. Great service as well. Just a good vibe.
