Expected same excellent quality of food as the location in Ahwatukee, but was disappointed. The pizza was over fired, somewhat burnt and dry. I couldn’t even taste the garlic and requested additional garlic. Ended up having to just request it be re-made and just ordered a cheese-type pizza asking to add the garlic to that one instead. Second pizza was better, however on my bill the waitress charged me an extra $3.00 just for the garlic that should have been on the first pizza to begin with. Politely asked to speak with the manager and while he did remove the extra garlic charge, he wasn’t very gracious about it and didn’t seem to genuinely care one way or another if I ended the experience of the evening on a positive note.The server I had, a young lady in her 20’s, provided attentive service and was very pleasant. The only negative is that she failed to inform me that she would be adding a charge for the garlic! I found out that each Nello’s is independently operated, so in the future I will stick with the other location in Ahwatukee where the food and service are world-class.

This place for a while was ok. I work very close to it so it is convenient. The last several times though the food quality had declined. I’ve tried the pasta dishes pizzas sandwiches and salads. Only the salads have stood out and those are near impossible to mess up for anyone. I think it is overpriced as will. Going to take my business else where
It took 30 minutes for our side salads to come out, but we couldn’t eat them because we didn’t have silverware. An hour after sitting there, our entrees arrived. Mind I say, there were only three other tables in use. My lasagna was barely luke warm inside and my boyfriends pizza was so thin you could see thru it. Frozen store bought pizza was better than this. I will never come back here again. The buss-boy did more for us than our waitress.
