Best pizza and chef’s board ever! The fig and prosciutto pizza with arugula was out of this world. Would have eaten it all had I not ordered the chef’s board as an appetizer. One of my favorite restaurants in Phoenix.
Excellent pasta. Seated promptly with a reservation made through Open Table even though it was a crowded Friday night. Service very good. Cesar salad a little weak…not much to it and very little flavor. But taglitelli with meat sauce was outstanding. I will go back just for that. Very loud due to metal ceilings but a fun atmosphere.14 Apr, 2012Very good food. The scallops with risotto and the bucateli with meatballs were both outstanding. If you don’t like very loud ask to sit outside though.
Great food, great wine!. Was just here the other evening for a girl’s night out and loved it!Our server was great giving us wine suggestions and it coupled well with our appitizers and pasta. I had the Gnocci with a glass of the Valpolicella and it was fantastic!Really looking forward to going back.
Happy Hour – 1/2 price bottle!. We were in town as I was hosting a small outing. After a little frustration earlier in the day, we stumbled into the 1/2 price bottles of wine during their Happy Hour on a Friday afternoon. It really brightened my day!We snagged a great seat on some cushioned patio furniture and cozied up with a bottle of Pinot and one of their pizzas. We special ordered a sausage and mushroom pizza with arugula. The server brought us some bread with sundried tomato spread while we waited for a our pizza.The bottle of wine did not stand a chance. Everything was yummy and the atmosphere of relaxing on a patio was perfect.A small mixup had another server bringing a small bowl of vegetable chips to our table. We thought maybe they were complimentary…but we decided to wait and ask before digging in. They were for the table next to us. Honestly, we didn’t touch them, but I thought it was odd that the server just moved them to the correct table. We *could* have eaten a few. If that had been my order, I would have kind of been miffed.
Decent. They have great food and service went there for the first time today and they may have given me and my mom burnt bread and disgusting cheese sauce but the service was great and they gave me not burnt bread after I called it to there attention my mom kinda liked her pizza I would would give north 3/5 stars go there if you want toasted bread and not so great pizzas
Great restaurant, amazing food, amazing service. One of the waiters, Glen, made the experience even better, was knowledgable about the wine, explained each dish once served, top notch food and service. Recommendations: Calamari (mixed like a salad), bruschetta is awesome, and the Strozzepetti pasta is awesome. Add some Parmesan to all of it and trust me, you will leave the place happy (and full!)
