Beautiful patio and Rick, our server, was very nice. We had Carne de Fuego which was delicious! The homemade tortillas with chipotle butter melted in my mouth. Who needs chips and salsa?
To whom it may concern: I…. To whom it may concern:I had my third visit to the restaurant last night, and can honestly say it was the WORST visit I have ever had, and an utter embarrassment! There was trouble with our entrees, delivered cold and without the proper enchilada filling (only cheese), and we let our server know of our concern, and I didn’t even eat mine, but she simply removed our entrees and asked us if we cared to order some desert, and we said we would rather order new entrees, and she laughed, leaving us the bill at the table. We promptly paid the bill in-cash, and left to complete our dinner elsewhere. Ridiculous that it had to come to that. Who removes a meal from a table and doesn’t alert management of such a complaint, and charges us the full bill? While I realize it was busy, it was clear that the server was more interested in up selling us or turning the table. It was simply what worst service and experience we have EVER had at any restaurant, anywhere! .. And that is saying a lot! I have let our hotel concierge know of our experience, and given the attitude of the server- I am still bothered enough to begin posting negative reviews if I do not receive some followup from management or owners. Regrets.
Great Evening. My family had a nice meal last night. The food,service and margarita’s were exceptional. We really loved the complimentary cheese tortillas with sour cream butter. Our server took the time to walk us through the menu and made our evening relaxing. We can’t wait to come back

One more thing…other reviews mention how pricey it is. It’s Scottsdale, everything is pricey. If you want cheap, hit up Taco Bell. Most of the entrees were $2-$3 more than the average Mexican restaurant, but worth it. Plus, you don’t get this atmosphere at the average Mexican restaurant. And I probably undersold the chips and salsa. They were really good!30 Mar, 2014Finally came here after living in AZ for 7 years and hearing how good it was. Not disappointed at all! Tried two different varieties of margaritas and loved both! The nacho chips were very good, as was the salsa. I had the do it yourself tacos and was very impressed. The flour tacos were better than the corn, but that’s just me. My wife ordered the green enchiladas and my son ordered the red enchiladas. They both loved them. I would recommend coming after dark and sitting on the patio. Great atmosphere! We’ll definitely be back!

Not really impressed. Food was way overpriced and lacked flavor. The tortilla chips were pretty crappy – just cut up your tortillas and fry them. Bam! Problem solved. Bill was 125 dollars for 4 people, chips, chorizo, 1 margarita, a glass of wine and a coke. When the waiter recommends the carne de fuego adding shrimp, they’re just trying to stack the tab. It was a horrible choice and very bland. We’ll probably never ever return.
