ChopShop has always been one of my absolute favorites. The photo is of their acai bowl. It has a layer of granola on the bottom (which is great because that way you don’t eat it all in the beginning), acai frozen smoothie, strawberries, bananas, coconut and I think there was honey. It’s the perfect breakfast when you want something fruity, sweet, cold and with a little crunch. I also get their kale Caesar salad with chicken (awesome!), chicken prosciutto with a GF wrap (also amazing, but their prosciutto has changed since they first opened. It seems to be a bit more chewy and not cut as thinly as they usually did in the past). They’re my go to for fresh squeezed juice and homemade lemonade. The parking can be challenging, but I will walk a distance for their lemonade/teas. Make sure you pay attention to parking signs!
Inexpensive Healthy Foods and Juices. This is a casual order at the counter kind of place. I didn’t notice anything on the menu costing more than $10.00. I ordered a chicken protein bowl and did the optional $1.00 add on for quinoa instead of brown rice or sweet potato hash. I liked that they used a lot of vegetables in my bowl but it somehow it reminded me of eating a frozen dinner. I tasted a morsel of my husbands tri tip sandwich and the small amount of beef was very chewy. His sandwich was made with fresh baked in house gluten free bread but was mostly mushrooms just sprinkled with a small amount of beef. I did notice most people were ordering breakfast items so maybe that is more the way to go here.
