Must stop. I spend about a month in Phoenix every year, and the first place I want to go to once I get into town is Osha Thai. The Thai basil fried rice is fantastic, as is the yellow curry. And the golden pockets (I think that’s what they’re called)…man, I could go for an order or two right now. And you can tell it’s a family joint, too; no corporate stiffness to ruin it. Keep up the good work!
Nice and Hot!. We finally made it to Osha last Friday night and felt like we had walked into a friend’s home for dinner. It smelled great and really resembled someone’s home. Plus a large group of people (that I deemed family and friends of/or the owners themselves) were eating in the middle of the restaurant and kept disappearing into the kitchen> There were about four other couples dining there as well, but service was as fast and friendly as we could have hoped for. The Tom Yum Gai soup was fantastically HOT (we asked for it that way) and really warmed us up quick! J had extra spicy chicken fried rice that came heaped upon a gigantic plate and had serrano pepper chunks mixed all through it. It was really tasty, even though I thought it sounded a tad boring! I had red chicken curry and it was really great too! We will be visiting Osha again soon!
Horrible Service. We went there while visiting family over the holidays. The teenage staff was not interested in seating us for about 15minutes and after asking twice. Once seated it took another 15minutes and our asking for menus to get those. Customers who arrived after us were being taken care of but we were left waiting without anybody asking us for drinks etc. When we got up to leave the staff noticed but didn’t make any attempt to ask why or stop us. Will never be returning there.
