Papago rocks. Papago Brewing is off the charts if you are a craft beer lover. Not only are they a top local place in Phoenix but get mentioned by beer geeks as being one of the top places in the country. Casual atmosphere, good pizza and as expected great beer, they have 30 taps with a handful of their own and you have hundreds of bottle choices that you can also take out with you. Friendly and smart beer educated staff—even the young female bartenders who you don’t expect to know anything really know the beers.

Good beer selection and food, iffy service. Whenever someone is looking for a good selection of on-tap beer, or a good bottle shop, Papago is always on the short list. The taps rotate, and so they are constantly changing. As mentioned, the house brands are nothing special, though the Orange Blossom is a popular option for wives and girlfriends. The food is good, though the service can be iffy depending on how many people are working. Sometimes they do a great job, and sometimes they hide behind the bar and ignore you.
Dive lover’s only. This is a great dive bar. obscure, great beer, lots of characters… beer coniseurs need only apply with 30 beers on tap and more in the cooler. Awesome!
Great beer place. Best place for beers in Phoenix Windows full of cold bottles and 30 taps plus their own ultra delicious beer. Gets crowded and noisy on Friday nights but the rest of the week it is a great place to kick back and hang out. Pizzas are reaally good, sandwiches and apps are typical brewpub fare.Located in a stripmall.
Nice place…just don’t order their beer…IT SUCKS…and they admit it. But they do have an impressive list of other beers. They also have a varied menu.
