Maybe the best meal I had on vacation. We went for Sunday brunch. We started with the grilled octopus appetizer and a couple of drinks. The octopus was tender and amazing. But, our breakfast/brunch entrees were so out of this world. It’s been a couple of months since our trip so I don’t remember the name of what we got but it was basically an upscale huevos rancheros. OMG my mouth is watering!
A dining wasteland. Even if the meatloaf and beer was passable, everything else from the service, table location and, the worst octopus and calamari ever to be put on our table made this an overpriced one star restaurant. Plus, hold the salt please.
They change chefs like shoes…the new menu is terrible, steaks are very over priced and the quality you’d find at Abblebee’s…you can get a better steak one door down at Bandera for less and they have an 8 ounce filet for $40 which is rediculouse…avoid this restaurant
Mothers’ Day Lunch. The food was wonderful! The fixed menu for the day offered two options in each area. All were great. The set price was reasonable, too. Including a Bloody Mary or Mimosa! The food was to die for!
Two of us in town for a conference ate, here. I had the steak fillet and it was fantastic! My colleague had the pony pizza and said it was one of the best pizzas he’d had. The dining area atmosphere was also unique and very good. I highly recommend this establishment. Be prepared, though, that it is not cheap (nor is it outrageously high priced), but it is worth every penny.
Great, great food….Reuben excellent.-side house salad w/special green and yummiest mini heirloom tomatoes…Berry Lemon Drop excellent….Hip new re-model….can even sit outside with mild low overhead A/C to cool temp. down a little….
The ribs were fantastic and fell off the bone. The char on them added great flavor. However they had the worst BBQ sauce I ever had in my life. Good thing it comes on the side. Way too much vinegar.
