Just spent the weekend at The Four Seasons. Had a delicious breakfast here with local Press coffee. Had a great view from the patio. Came back later and enjoyed a sundae at their soda fountain.
Overrated. While the meatloaf was delectable, the rest of the experience was not. I think it is reasonable to say that six different people waiting on you and having to repeat requests over and over to said six people is rather obnoxious. In an overzealous attempt to be fancy, they have made the meal difficult to enjoy, from under cooked sides to poorly-mixed made-in-house root beer that was sweet enough to make a sugar cube addicted horse whinny, all with a price tag of $100 for 2 (w/out drinks), the Proof Canteen has succeeded in losing my business.
