My favorite sushi place. We go here about once a month and the sushi is always really fresh. In usually stick to sashimi and rolls but the other food I’ve tried was really good too- especially the sea bass. The staff is friendly and they have a great happy hour.
Ok, not great. Ordered takeout and was a bit disappointed on a some levels. 1) Order was not correct. 2) Too much fake crab in their dishes. 3) California roll was just rich, seaweed wrap and fake crab. 4) Just personal opinion, but bowl of soup for $14 with just some udon noodles and broth is a bit steep, and I’m not typically cheap.This all said. Person answering the phone was friendly, and the specialty rolls were decent. I’m thinking Scottsdale(North) May just not have any good sushi spots.
Excellent special sushi rolls. We have eaten at PURE three time and their sushi special rolls are excellent. Especially the White Mountain the the Spicy Tuna. Very friendly and attentive service
Best Sushi Again!. Traveled to Scottsdale and had to visit Pure Sushi again, was not disappointed. Everything was excellent! Had some yellowtail and salmon nigiri, peppered beef roll, fire dragon roll, vegas roll…..All Excellent! The fish is very fresh, well prepared and the flavors in the rolls are incredible. Yes, the chicken teriyaki is a bit expensive for what you get, but it made my eight year old happy.11 Jul, 2011Best Sushi in Scottsdale!. Everything we had was great! We took our three kids and they each found something on the menu. Kelly, our waitress, took great care of the kids and made some great suggestions. The white monster, fire dragon, and peppered beef rolls were excellent. Nice atmosphere and great sushi!
The Management has the skills & tact of a poor greasy spoon diner. We’ve been going to this place for a while. Food is excellent & staff friendly & helpful. On a recent visit we were given a table in a two- table private room. We were soon joined by a group of abusive, drunken near do wells – the kind only Scottsdale can produce. The management was unwilling to do much about this & an excruciating remainder of supper followed. Upon leaving we noted our experience and disappointment, the manager basically denied the event & offered only a half-hearted apology – nothing else! What kind of customer service is this? Avoid this place. Really avoid this place.
I am sure the sushi is great but…. The teriyaki was a complete ripoff. $14 and it is literally half the serving size of any other chicken teriyaki I have gotten before.
Love this place.. I love this sushi place. Nice choices of sushi rolls, good service and fresh. Also, they have things for non-sushi eaters. Nice clientele, friendly atmosphere.
