NY Style Chinese..umm yes!. I don’t normally post on these sites but I was so upset by the previous post that I felt the need to respond. Apparently the poster has never been to a NY Chinese place because most of them are as small if not smaller than this one and do cater to take out or delivery more so than the normal AZ Chinese place. Since moving here from NY I have tried many Chinese places in the area and this is the only one that makes their food even somewhat similar in taste to the NY style that I am used to. I have introduced many people to Red House and they all became instant fans. I highly recommend this small, quaint and amazingly tasty NY Style Chinese place!
Good take out. This is a great take out place, plain and simple. The mongolian beef is excellent, as is the fried rice, orange chicken, and mai lai chicken with basil. This is not healthy chinese, but rather the classic, tasty full fat variety. The ambiance is strip mall, so you prob won’t want to be having dinner for two here, but they are super quick, everything comes with veggies, and they are consistent. They do also have healthy steamed items on the menu that you can add your own sauce to if you are health conscious. I can’t wait to try the soup this winter.
