We went there for lunch today. I had the Dos Tacos lunch special with Barbacoa tacos. The meat was so tender and flavorful!! We will definitely be going back!My husband had the carne asada street tacos with pineapple salsa and said he would certainly order them again too. Muy buena comida!!!
Has a couple of very good tacos and some not so good, but they do have a very good chili relleno. Depending on bartender you usually get a good margarita. The biggest problem is the manager, aside from no personality he doesn’t always stay open as advertised even if there are customers. Best to go for lunch or happy hour.
This small restaurant offers lower than average quality Americanized Mexican Foods in an ULTRA LOUD Bar Like Circus Atmosphere and very POOR sickly sweet margaritas with trace amounts of alcohol. The 70s hard rock anthem tunes were blaring almost enough t make my head burst. Tables are packed close together and you might actually rub elbows. We were seated and quickly received a basket of half crushed tortilla chips with some salsa. The salsa tasted like it was missing some key ingredients. We received our margaritas and they were terribly sweet without any kick. Then someone was running around the restaurant passing out tickets to win a floatation raft with a beer logo. The four of us all ordered various tacos as appetizers all the tacos lacked the typical flavors that you usually taste in tacos. It didn’t seem like any fresh herbs or scallions got used in any of them and most of them were made with dry tasteless meats. My fish taco was the only one out of 5 that wasn’t dry but it tasted like vinegar with sweet canned pineapple. Those were the only taste in my taco. For dinner I had the kale and mango salad with added salmon. This was the only dish they prepared well and was actually delicious it had many textures and flavors with nicely prepared fish but it was also very expensive and cost $18.75. Sadly the other three dinners faired less well. My husband had dry tasteless carnitas, one person had a vegetable burrito they’d never order again and the other person had carne asada fajitas that came out dry and chewy like jerky. That person did wind up mentioning how dry his platter was to our server and she did offer a new one that he turned down and latter it was taken off the bill. Over all this was a much lower than average dining experience.
