Beautiful place. Staff is a bit slow food was good and ambiance is amazing. Just wish had more attentive staff and our reservations we had for outside was kept. We asked for outside and were sat inside and told they were full outside even though our 2 week advance reservations were for outside.

Worst service have had in years from pricey restsurant .. 20 min wait for water and had to ask .. Still didn’t come. Bread never showed til ask and tea never came . The chef over salts everything. If u like salty and want to be up all nite drinking wAter I would go here. Atmosphere pretty but. not worth going just for that. Definitely don’t go to Sassi! Stay away!

Lovely location. Expensive. Menu too foo-foo. Four Seasons down the road better.

Better menu at Carraba’s. I’m all for a unique and inventive menu, but this place was trying too hard to not be olive garden resulting in bad food. Nice architecture though.

Beautiful location but crap food. Walk through the grounds and enjoy the sunset but don’t eat here – it was truly awful. They even messed up my cocktail.

Food as bad as ambience is good. Oh how americans can muck up such fine cuisine! The restaurant, setting, etc. is gorgeous beyond belief. Shame that the food is so atrocious. True Italian food has a delicacy and subtlety that Sassi lacks. The pasta sauces are so goopy and the second courses are exaggerated. This is truly the Disneyland version of Italian cuisine.

Italy in the Desert. Who could have imagined this Tuscan mansion situated beneath Pinnacle Peak overlooking the desert floor and Scottsdale in the distance? Arrive after dark and be transported to a special place. Great location for a special dinner. The menu is diverse, and you can pick and choose lots of little things – which we like. We did have one bad experience on my birthday last year of extremely poor service, but I’ve got to believe that was an anomaly. Test it with a drink on the patio in front of the fireplace or overlooking the lights of the Valley.
