Very different Asian Restaurant. The two plates we tried are very similar to authentic Asian Food. I tried the cold Spicy Chicken and Cucumber Salad. It was simply delicious. The white meat chicken was poached to perfection and the cucumbers were tried nicely and were very refreshing in the gingery, garlicky spicy sauce. This dish is very similar to Hawaiian/Chinese cuisine. My husband ordered the Szechuan Spicy Beef. It wasn’t as fiery as authentic Szechuan but had the similar flavor and style as authentic. The beef was twice cooked and was delicious. The careful light coating of sauce was not sweet or thick. It was very good. Prices run higher than most Chinese Restaurants and portions are small but the food from what I tried is above average. Complimentary hot tea is served with meals.

Fantastic!. The food is great. It is a little pricey for the average college kid but if you want some good food this is the place to go. You have to make sure to order the right dishes. Yu Shan Chicken is great, Kung Pao Beef, and House Rice Noodles are amazing. They have by far the best house fried rice. Everywhere else soaks their rice in soy sauce, but here they put just the right amount in. Great place, I recommend it to anyone.

This is perhaps the worst Chinese food I have ever had. Noodles dishes are covered in a tasteless brown gravy with the soggiest vegetables in every dish. It left me wondering if they were frozen or canned vegetables, certainly not fresh. That’s why I say it is not really chinese. The eggrolls are very bad and the salt and pepper calamari are tastless and dont have the proper dipping sauce to compliment them. The owners are stuck in the present and not in the past otherwise the Chinese food would be authentic. Plus that, this happens to be the most expensive Chinese restaurant with all the plates going for $14.95 except the appetizers. I like the lantern motif of the decor but they need to be rescued from the disrespectful attitude that the eating public dont have a palette that cant detect slop when put in front of them. Too bad. Too sad. Never will go there or even look at their windows when in the vicinity of the place.
