Cacophony of Flavors. On our first and so far only visit I rated it A-, my wife B-. I loved the adventurous approach starting with the Miang Kum mustard leaf filled with fried coconut and a mixture of flavors that each made special appearances on my taste buds. My wife was ‘meh’ – she didn’t get it. The calamari was a comparable adventure although I thought there were too many onions. The best was the fried catfish entree. It melted in my mouth amidst another cacophony of flavors. I rated Soi 4 down because the person on the phone couldn’t explain where the restaurant was and it took a while to be waited on. But the service was excellent after that. I shall return but without my wife.
Not the Usual Thai. We both really enjoyed the appetizer called Miang Kum it was a mustard leaf filled with toasted coconut and other treats that just tasted good together. It was spicy and sweet and had everything going on. I tried the Kang Maker Yad Sai, it was thin rolled eggplant stuffed with a mixture of chicken that seemed like an Asian Pancake inside. I thought the Green Curry sauce it sat in was very above average because it wasn’t too sweet and didn’t have too much coconut milk in it like many other places do. But this dish was light on texture and was a small portion. My husband had the Kua Kling Mu, it was stir fried pork shoulder that was spicy with asparagus. It was good but too small a portion for my husband as he said he needed to stop for a burger afterwards because it might have been only two oz. of meat in dish.
Ok food and awesome dessert. Came here and got the mixed seafood with rice which was only ok but then i got the grand marnier with the berry sorbet for dessert and it was delicious. Im sure i just happened to order something mediocre off the menu by bad luck and that if i returned id get a delicious meal
Bleh!. Service was not good at all. I ordered kang makeur yad sai and it was SO salty. Won’t be coming back, there are too many yummy restaurants in Scottsdale to waste my time here again.
Great food. Not always on the menu Mi crob was fantastic. Drunk beef veggies were crisp and delicious…the beef wasn’t the best. Fried bananas and coconut ice cream was perfect finish
Rethink Thai. This is modern Thai that you are going to love! Very refreshing menu, everything was perfectly prepared and unbelievably delicious. Try the pan-fried Indian bread and grillled skirt steak with green curry. One of the best new restaurants in Scortsdale!
Soi delicious!. I love this restaurant so much! The food is beyond delicious and I would highlight my favorite dishes but I love too many to list!
