I had breakfast here this morning, and I had a great experience. The food was great and very fresh. The service was good as well. Most definitely a great breakfast place.
Had breakfast there. Waitress was obnoxious & rude.Food was terrible. It was flavorless. Everyone working there looked mad & stressed. Not a good environment.Would not return.
Lunch at the Diner. Out of pure chance I stopped into Summit Diner for breakfast. My choice was the Summit skillet which I thought looked like it would be a filling meal. First off it took the staff forever to wait on me then when I did order my food came out cold. Not a good start for a first visit. Needless to say Im not sure I will be visiting there anytime soon.
We were excited to try the Summit Diner for lunch, but we aren’t likely to return anytime soon. The soup was the better part of our meal. We then shared a very uninspired patty melt, with an up charge for overcooked dried out onion rings. Worse, there was old lipstick on the ice tea glass that became apparent halfway through the drink. Yuck. On the good side, we did have a friendly server, and the service was fine. Still no reason to save us a Table42.
Can’t rate the food since we got our drinks waited 15 minutes and walked out because no one came back to take our order.
First Visit. My wife and I decided to try the Summit Diner for breakfast for the first time. The food was average to good but the service is lacking. We each ordered the daily breakfast special (two eggs, pancakes or french toast and a choice of breakfast meat). The meal was delivered after a bit of a wait, without the eggs. We pointed this out to the waiter who scurried off to the kitchen presumably to get the eggs. After asking a second time we still never received the eggs. The bill was adjusted but the diner has a few kinks to work out. The manager was invisible or I would have shared my experience. I will probably wait a while to return.
Great local restaurant. We were pleased to visit the Summit Diner and get great services and an excellent brunch. The breakfast burrito was excellent as were the sandwiches and soup. Forget all those chain restaurants and check this out!
