Usually when places start delving down the slippery slope of forced fusion theres this blatant awkwardness of being neither here nor there. Didnt feel that at all, menu was purposefully Japanese with a whimsy of South America thrown in. Place was packed early on mid week and I took a seat at the sushi bar. Chefs were busy about their tasks with only one making time enough to take my sushi order. Would have given the place a flat out 5 but the sushi chiller was quite dirty on the inside and I couldnt tell if that was from just the few hours of being open or last nights bits.
Being from Chicago, which is known for its unforgettable Dinning experiences, I found this place to be average. The ambiance was nice, service was good and the food was okay but nothing spectacular. A place to try but I wouldnt necessary go back there again or recommend it to anyone I know.
Defiantly one of the highlights of our trip.Really cool setup, great vibe, good food, nice happy hour menudj spinning tracks later.Korean Beef Tacos, some of the tastiest bites anywhere. So many interesting menu items it will take a few visits to try’s all.But I’m up for it.
