Great sushi restaurant. The owner, Dai-san made his way from Japan to the US after traveling around the world and gaining experience in Santa Monica. Just order whatever the specials are, don’t worry about the menu. Simple lunches are priced right and dinner is great. Small counter and booths — only traditional Japanese beverages — beer, sake — don’t order Coors.
Best sushi and japanese food ever!. I grew up in a japanese household and know what true japanese food tastes like. I have lived in many different places and been to a variety of japanese restaurants but Sushi Ko is by far one of the best! I always feel satisfied when I leave, no matter what I order on the menu but I especially love their rolls. They are delicious and the portions you get are amazing! The atmosphere is great for any occassion and whether you want traditional or modern japanese food, this is the place to go! Great atmosphere, great fish, great quality, great chefs, and staff.
