Fantastic meal, service, atmosphere. I booked a table to eat at Talavera shortly after their renovation was complete and it was well worth the wait. We sat at the center table of the restaurant next to the beautiful fire pit outdoors and the fantastic view over the valley as the sun set.Romantic setting, fantastic waitstaff, was only complemented by well done food. I would have said great, but some of the new appetizers at the time I think Chef needed some more work on to perfect. Overall however, I would happily eat here again. And the dessert was absolutely divine. For my birthday I received a special Valrhona vanilla mousse with white chocolate medallions, and fresh fruit with macaroons. YUMM. Seriously good eats 😉
Worthy Successor To Acacia. Talavera has replaced Acacia as the fine dining restaurant at Four Seasons Scottsdale. I have eaten there four times and think that it’s the best restaurant at which I have eaten in Arizona. Not surprisingly, the room has a strong SouthWestern theme.I’ve eaten there four times and thoroughly enjoyed each meal. My favorite meal starts with a sampling of domestic caviar, followed by the breast of duck with maple glaze, and concluding with an artisan cheese plate. Service is excellent, and the wine list offers ample variety and good quality. I plan to return in December
