‘BEEN THERE TWICE. TWO TOTALLY DIFFERENT PERCEPTIONS… GOING TONIGHT, and THIS MAY be the ‘determining vote!’. Very nice location, facility, atmosphere, and employees – [service]. First time I went, was to join a friend to perform for the open mic [EVERY WEDNESDAY EVENING]I was NOT impressed by either the sound system, or the ‘cool’ reception I felt from the Open Mic host -[hostess] – Although I DID enjoy her music, I felt she wasn’t ‘really’ a ‘people-person’… and that she didn’t really maintain control over the situation… [it APPEARED to be somewhat chaotic]Which is FINE!NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT!My perception of my initial visit, was one of non-committal lack-of-support… apathy? OR just DISTRACTED?WHO KNOWS?IT REALLY DIDN’T MATTER… just ‘a feeling’ I had… ANYWAY, visit #2 was FAR MORE SUCCESSFUL! THE ITINERARY, CROWD [AND SOUND] WERE MUCH IMPROVED, and a GREAT TIME WAS HAD BY ALL!I’M INVITING A TON OF PEOPLE TO COME HEAR ME PLAY, this month… it’s definitely worth a few more ‘looks’… INVESTIGATING TO BE DONE… ;)HOPE TO SEE YOU, THERE!COME JOIN THE PARTY!CHOOSE HAPPINESS!IT’S JUST MORE FUN!
Good Wine. We stumbled upon this little wine bar and just adore it. The wine selection is great, the atmosphere is great. If I have any criticism it’s just that I wish they had more food. The pub is tucked away in a nice strip mall but the only good food in the strip is Ruth’s Chris (we do not like the other option of Cove Trattoria). There is a nice big patio. We have signed up for their wine of the month club which is really nice. Definitely a great spot.
Love, love, love Terroir!. I have been several times over the past few years and this is still my favorite local spot! I adore the staff, they are always willing to make a suggestion based on preferences (translation: they humor me through my horrible descriptions of what I want and still somehow find a perfect bottle.) The food is fabulous and I have adored watching the menu grow as the kitchen is expanded. The ambiance is perfect … there is really something for everyone, corner seats with lounge chairs and couches, bar seating and high tops inside plus a patio that would make any bistro jealous. I really can not find a flaw and frankly, I have stopped looking for them!
