Noisy!. Food was excellent, service was good but the noise level was so high that it was difficult to have a conversation. I would perhaps return but only for lunch and only when I didn’t really intend to have an important discussion.
While the food was great with a creative menu, I cannot say the same about our service. It was terrible. Our server came to the table, asked us if we have ever been there before, and when we said no, she stated all the most expensive entrees on the menu as her favorites. After we ordered our food, she asked us for our drink order, and when we didn’t order any alcoholic drinks, her attitude changed completely. She was extremely rude and snotty. She never have us our complimentary bread that everyone else had in the restaurant. I had to ask another server for some bread. I understand that alcohol racks up the bill which in turn means bigger tip, but being rude because you don’t order alcohol is ridiculous and this waitress needs to find another profession if this is how she plans on acting when customers don’t order alcohol.
I’ve been here about 4 times over the last couple years and always get the Mahi tacos and fries (usually truffle). I need to try something else but usually can’t overcome the craving for that combination!
Awesome. Great flavors. Good service. I recommend this without reservation- which you won’t need if you get here early. Packed after 6;30.
This was our first time to this restaurant ….we were escorted to table in front of th kitchen door and asked it we could sit in the corner at a more private cozy tables. The hostess was snotty and replied that it was reserved and they had a lot or reservations ? Huh ! We has made a reservation too, so did this mean one persons reservation was more important than ours ? We waited for our server and asked if we could move. She politely came back and said we could have the table because the reservation wasn’t for two hours 🙂 after that we has the most delicious meal served fast and friendly 🙂 prices very reasonable for a nice restaurant in Kierland 😉 loved it will go back
Our family loves this place. The tuna tacos are terrific. My 10 yr. old son loves the tortilla soup. We also love the pasta. Never fails.
Wow!! Heavenly food!!. Along with The Roaring Fork, this place is my favorite in Phoenix/Scottsdale! Just to give you an idea of how much I love this place…I’m from Miami, and my family and I discovered Green House while staying at the Westin Kierland next door. My husband, sister, and parents…we were all in town for five days vacationing (we frequently go to Phoenix) and we went there EVERY DAY OF OUR VACATION! We just couldn’t get enough! I returned to Phoenix this past summer with my two best girlfriends for a girl’s trip…I was very pregnant and craving the food at GH. My friends loved it, and I hereby vow to come back every chance I get whenever I’m in town! The homemade dumplings and the sweet corn cannelloni are to die for, and the desserts are light, fresh, and heavenly!
