Heard about this little tucked-away Thai/Japanese/Chinese eatery next door to My Sister’s Attic on Scottsdale Rd. just South of Lincoln Rd. from a friend who had heard great reviews on Check Please, Arizona. A friend and I recently went for lunch on a Wednesday. The lighting was a bit subdued and dark. However, the great wait service and outstanding food by far was worth the visit. The place was reasonably busy with a business-type lunch crowd. We ordered the Tom Kha Gai soup to start with. It was brought in a heated tureen and could have easily fed four people. It was simply amazing! The wait staff scooped the soup for us too. To die for Tom Kha Gai is all I can say. I ordered Chicken Kang Keo Wa over house fried rice, and my friend ordered Chicken Chop Suey–both made spicy hot. OMG! Fabulous food, and so much I had leftovers for lunch the next day. To top it off we shared a scoop of homemade coconut ice cream with crush peanuts and a scoop of avocado ice cream with mint leaves–crazy, crazy delicious. Avocado ice cream–who knew? I will be back to Tottie’s in a heart beat.

Was visiting Scottsdale and decided on this place, so they don’t let you know that the sushi isn’t made until 4 so we had to wait like 30 mins for the sushi guy to come (I’m still waiting as I write this) server got my drink mixed up have me ice tea instead of lemon I tired leaving when I found out we would have to wait for the sushi guy but my party wanted to stay.Food is good servers aren’t very friendly and try to push deals on you and specials but can’t even have the common sense to tell you the sushi guy hasn’t come yet, they only told us after I askedAlso server never said your welcome just ugh after we said thank you and what have you.The egg rolls and kalarhi are good but I can’t put up with the rest of this place also why is there jazz playing in a asain resturant?
