Disappointing. We live so close and so want to like and support the place. We have been there a few times and it feels like untrained, very young people are running a pizza place. A women comes in and I have been told she is the owners wife and she is on her phone for the whole time we are there.
Overpriced Disappointment. After reviewing many accolades for this restaurant, Uncle Louie’s was an extreme disappointment and significantly overpriced. Ive had pizza under the Brooklyn bridge for half the price and twice the experience. I get that its the desert, but if you are going to call yourself the best pizza joint in PHX, it better be an unforgettable experience. BTW, who pays $21.95 for a medium cheese pizza, unless they think they are getting the best in PHX? Lesson Learned…just say no to uncle louie’s…
Consumer. Sorry to report but this just isn’t the Uncle Louie’s which at was time 1 of the few safe havens for sensational food when they were at the other location. If they were back in Brooklyn, they wouldn’t last 2 weeks. The pizza has become a crispy lavosh type, break a tooth type affair. They had the best roast chicken in the Valley and now, it’s no different than a rotisserie bird at a local market. And the price for Egg Plant Parm??? Are you kidding us? After 10 year sof loyalty-NO MAS!!! Keep an eye on your final bill also. Heck what a shame for those of us in Carefree.
Awesome lobster ravioli and superb specialty pizzas. Especially good is the Blue Bomber pizza which has bacon, roasted garlic and carmelized onions over a pesto sauce. Delicious.
Pretty darn good. Setting is casual and fun. Restaurant hints at more freshness than most pizzerias. Pizza is good but not outstanding. Pasta is good but I still haven’t found that wonderful pasta I hope to find one day in Arizona.Louie is loads of fun and so is his wife. This is the kind of place you would find in Manhattan–which is a compliment.
