Come Here For Beer…Not Food. This is a really neat place, and I was so excited to try it out with my boyfriend for Valentine’s Day. The beer selection really is impressive and the dcor is nice too – not too dive bar-y, not too upscale. They were a little busy (there was an event in Old Town Scottsdale that day), but we were seated right away and we saw plenty of staff around. We placed our drink order as well as ordering an appetizer and the waiter left to input it. He came back with our beer, and told us that the kitchen was a little backed up, so if we wanted to order any other food, we should do it now. We quickly made our selections, and he ran off again. We waited for TWO HOURS and still didn’t even get our pretzel bite appetizer! He stopped by our table three times during this eternity (we were so hungry!), once to bring us another round, and two more times saying, both times, that they were now plating our food and it would be right out. The best (worst) part was that the tables on either side of us had people arrive after us, eat before us, pay, and leave…all while we were still waiting for our freaking pretzel bites! Once we realized that we’d been sitting there like a couple of idiots for two full hours, we waved down the server and told him we’d like to just cancel the whole order. He said he understood, never apologized or explained anything, and went to get our check for the drinks. Upon his return with the bill, he brings out the two sandwiches we ordered, boxed up to-go style. What?! I had had my fill of the nonsense by then. We paid the bill and left the food. It was perhaps the single most confusing and disappointing restaurant visit of my life. I give it an A+ for drinks, but if you’re hungry, try somewhere that will feed you!
Horrible service. Waited over 30 minutes to get a bill- server never came back to order more drinks- asked for sandwich without blue cheese- waitress told us they made it with and were replating it- I got a sandwich with blue cheese obviously scraped off. Will not be returning!
