Should have been better. My wife and I were surprised by the experience we had at Veneto. It seemed like a nice place at first glance. The service was less than inspiring, the food was average but the noise was ridiculous. We couldnt even have a conversation over the kitchen and bus boy noise. My pasta was over cooked and the veal was rubbery. We will not be back.
Elegant Italian. A friend and I went to the Veneto Trattoria this evening because it is close to her work. If your idea of Italian is over cooked pasta drenched in tomato sauce and parmesan, you will not like this place. But if you have been to Northern Italy and yearn to return, It is definitely worth a visit. The salad was fresh and the dressing excellent. I had the Baramundi special and found it to be very good. My only criticism is that some might find it a little salty. My friend had the shrimp and shared one with me. (What a gal). It was excellent; a little spicy but not enough to overpower the shrimp. The wait staff appears to have been trained in the tradition of European professional food servers. They are not American college students. Our waiter had a complete knowledge of the menu. We finished the meal with coffee and a shared Chocolate souffle. Excellent!

Very impressive. The integrali caprese was outstanding, as was the house salad.
K Knight. I have been a guest at Veneto Trattoria many times. The food is the best Italian/Venetian in the valley, and I have recommended this restaurant to many friends. The servers are always accommodating and pleasant. AND one can visit with whomever you are with, without shouting. Thank you for being here.
Scolded by the establishement!!. My wife ordered the Sea Bass and didnt care for it. The waiter took the dish back and then the owner came over to our table and berated my wife on why there was nothing wrong with the fish.We never asked them to remove it from our bill, and they didnt. Being scolded by the establishment was not what we had in mind.Never again for this place ever!!!! If you want to get into an argument if you dont like the food this is your place!
Veneto Trattoria. Absolutely superb little Italian restaurant. The Baccala Mantecato (Venetian style cod) appetizer is a must-have. The Fegato alla Veneziana (Calf liver) was also very good, and my company really enjoyed their pasta dishes. Be sure to save room for dessert because the Crema Cotta is delicious, and when they have Chocolate Souffle as a dessert special, order it!
