Heavenly Coffee. If you believe in more than just getting caffeine from your morning cup of java, Village Roastery is your new Oasis. I travel all around the country and find home in any local home roasting coffee houses. VR offers coffee for any palete and believes in taste, consistency and oh by the way, good friendly service. If your in Phoenix, this is one you dont want to miss.

The best coffee in Scottsdale. I love independent coffee roasters and am now addicted to Village Roasterys coffee. My favorite is the Yirga cheffe and their espresso blend. They’ve also added a great menu with sandwiches, salads pastries and more. The new owner Lisa is very friendly and has added longer hours. Great place!

Best Coffee Ever. This was my second trip to Village Coffee, and though I didn’t think it was possible, it was even better this time than the last. The atmosphere is great for getting work done: it’s chill enough that you can concentrate, but there are plenty of conversations to jump into if you want to take a break. The staff is friendly and hilarious. And of course, the coffee is unbelievable. I know people who have it shipped to them from out of state. I don’t know what they use to roast their beans, but I do know that the Misty Valley is…hard to find an adequate positive adjective to describe. Go there. Try it. You will be pleasantly at a loss for words, too. I wish that I could fold Village Coffee Roastery into my suitcase and bring it home to Houston.

HIDDEN GEM!. The Village Coffee Roastery is a true gem!! I was visiting Scottsdale in April of this year. I believe that the shop had just been taken over by new owners a short time before. At the time what was lacking in decor and ambiance was made up for by the fabulous coffee. I was back in the Scottsdale area a few weeks ago and stopped in for the best coffee I’ve ever tasted and imagine my surprise to find that the decor and ambiance had caught up with the terrific coffee. They now offer more food/snack choices. I don’t know who their baker is, but the Italian lemon cake is to die for!!! I spoke with the owner, Lisa, and have beans shipped to me back home the very day they are roasted. Do not miss out on this litle gem when you are in Scottsdale!

Best. Roastery. EVER.. I’m convinced that there isn’t a single coffee shop in Arizona that’s better than the Village Coffee Roastery. Everyone who works there is extremely friendly and helpful, the food and drinks are very unique, and the atmostphere is comfortable and welcoming. My FAVORITE drink is their chai latte! I drive 20 miles from my home in Chandler to come here.

Greatest coffee shop. Craig, the previous owner, sold the shop in April and the new owner has done wonders to the shop while maintaining the excellent coffee standard set by Craig!! Lisa, the current owner, gave the shop a 10 year cleaning, a nice paint job and the shop is better than ever!! They roast the coffee on site with some crazy scientific method that makes the coffee unbelievably amazing!! If it’s your first time I suggest you try an espresso. After I spent time in Italy I thought I had tried the best but little did I know that the Village makes espresso with a little extra awesome in it! Oh and the last time I went in there I noticed a giant clock and as it turns out the customers didn’t like the original clock and they bought one a new one for the shop! Great people!!
