Best serving of prime rib I have had in literal decades. Everything was done well.
Relaxing atmosphere. The spouse voted the cowboy chicken sandwich a top 20 find.
I want to LOVE this place. Been going here for years, great location, beautiful interior, very personable wait staff……but the food doesn’t seem to be what it use to be. Smaller portions and the taste you can get at any chain for le$$.
Great food and service. I have tried the one in Scottsdale, one in Greensboro, nc and the on in Winston Salem, nc. All consistently good. Recently we tried the spring rolls and the chips as appetizers. Very good I tried the rainbow trout and tavern salad. Both were amazing The BBQ chicken pizza and grilled meatloaf are great too. I sampled those The creme brle is freakin fantastic. The apple cobbler looks good
Nice quiet Sunday Lunch. My wife and i stopped by late in the afternoon 300p for a late lunch early dinner. When you first walk in it took a while to adjust to the darkness of the restaurant, but it rather nice with it’s paneled walls and large fireplace. We given a very comfortable booth, our server took our drinks and water order, we also ordered the ribbon onions. Our drinks arrived, along with our wine, which I might add, was a very nice selection of by the glass and bottles. I also noted the fine selections of brews too. Our onion ribbons arrived, we asked what the sauce was made of, and the person paused for a moment, well tis our famous sauce, and we asked again…and she said sour cream, herbs and spices, not to difficult to answer. Our sandwiches arrived roasted short ribs with coleslaw, and turkey reuben with sweet potato fries…all good. Dessert was the banana crepes, which was sliced bananas, with Ben & Jerry’s ice cream wrapped in crepes, very nice treat to share. All Good it does get a YES.
Very clubby, good food at fair prices. Rich woods & fireplace, very comfortabe. Food is burgers, chops& fish, they have good onion strings and the Sunday brunch has good eggs Benedict .
Consistently good. A good selection of items, I really like their salads, burgers and pizzas. The food is ok but nothing special. A good spot for a client lunch but make reservations as it gets very busy.
