Absolutely incredible dinner! Their signature octopus is the best Ive ever had. We went there with my in-laws. I got gnocchi, tried some appies (asparagus was particularly memorable), and had a beautiful Chianti with my dinner.Im not giving it 5.0 for one reason – there were a few flies constantly circling around. The waiters tried to chase them away but were unsuccessful. It would be great to install nets on doors.Still, even the flies didnt ruin it for us. Their food was fantastic! I will definitely come back there and recommend it to others.

Virtu is a very small fine dining restaurant that’s described as contemporary European but has an Italian Slant. This restaurant has won and has been nominated for many awards. You will be seated on the patio unless you specify in your reservation. I previously reviewed Virtu and awarded 5 stars. We were sat on the patio and it was 93 degrees outside so we were somewhat uncomfortable and our table wobbled terribly. We started with cocktails that were interesting as they contained many ingredients we never heard of. The cocktails were different and also good Amaro Viale and Spice Market ([email protected] had appetizers of salad and Sicilian Rope Sausage. My salad was made of micro greens and contained citrus and had a big disk of goat cheese blended with beet root. It was good but could have used a crouton or slice of bread to spread the cheese onto. My husband said his appetizer was good but greasy. For dinner I had the Big Eye Tuna with Sun-chokes. The Tuna was prepared reasonably well but was very plain. The sun chokes were fried and were in a very sweet sauce that was described as an Agro Dolce but I didn’t get any sour just sweet…..It was sweet like dessert. It was hard to swallow. My husband had the Lamb Shank. He said it was prepared well and liked the taste of the beans. For dessert I tried the Peaches and Cream Olive oil cake. I received broken cake in a glass with over worked peaches and a little loose cream. It didn’t seem sweet at all after the cloyingly sweet sun chokes. On my last visit I thought that I had one of the best meals I ever had anywhere and this time I feel as if I was at a different restaurant…

Very expensive! The food was not good not worth $! I orderthe lamb shank and the waitress suggested that Iremove the yogurt from the original dish and that was a big mistake it made itvery dry almost un eatableI suggest that next time someone advise the waiterabout a food allergy please suggest another dish instead, DO NOT try to modifythe original dish-that was a bad ideal. I do not recommend this restaurant formany other reasons, what they call water fall (pool) is very unsafe; my littleman almost went head down Thanks to a nice gentleman who was able to grab himbefore it happened (was feets away but on high hell). Also, this water fall was suggested by the waitressanother bad idea Waiter please dont advise little kids to go the your waterfall without a parent supervision.

Outstanding meal! The food was so incredibly tasty, each bite blew me away. Our waitress, Jennifer, was beyond stellar. Her recommendations were nothing short of amazing and made our experience that much better. We got the grilled octopus, pork belly and the turkey tails and for dessert the sticky toffee chocolate cake. Our evening spent here couldn’t have been better! Loved the food and what a fabulous waitress, she’s a keeper!

Excellent brunch. They offer a little something different than your typical brunch fare. Atmospheric outdoor seating was a huge plus. Be sure to try the ragu and eggs. We’ll be back soon!

Virtu is hidden in that gem like way. As someone who has traveled all over the Valley and spent time in Scottsdale driving by the location and seeing it tucked away in a Mediterranean villa style building was welcoming to say the least. It exuded a destination ambiance which it was since I had heard lore of the brunch here from other taste travelers! The table settings are simple and noteworthy because they just once again are part of the beauty of the experience eating here. Great wine and spectacularly crafted cocktails make for easy sipping to pair with a rotating menu. They offer traditional breakfast upon request but the selections range from savory to sweet and offer something recognizable but with artistic and appetizing touches. We ordered the Classic Crepe which is hands down luxurious and rich with each bite showcasing thinly sliced ham, the octopus which they have been lauded for which is tender and bright, along with the heavenly lemon ricotta pancakes which were naturally sweet with blackberry compote and fluffy. Every bite was well rounded and made you want to push past your fullness to have another bite. A wonderfully executed eatery who’s patio and ambiance make you feel transported away from the Valley. instagram.com

I really really wanted to enjoy the restaurant. The building and the patio are very nice, remind me of Palo Alto, CA… The drinks were good, I had a Moscow Mule and a Mojito . The service was nice, I liked my waitress…. But the pork chop was absolutely terrible… So I sent it back for the seared Ahi Tuna… It was a little bit better, but still really not good. Very sad…. But I think they spilled something on my food. Perhaps some acid or a cleaning product. I am sad to write this because the service was very nice , but the food just was terrible.
