Down Home Southern BBQ. This place has the most down to earth and down home feel you can get without being in the south. The sweet tea is perfection. It isn’t everyday that you can get perfect southern style sweet tea in AZ. The portion sizes are great. My husband, 3 yr old daughter and myself came is for lunch. We were greeted so kindly, the cashier was extremely patient as we looked over the menu. We ordered and the food came out quickly. My daughter had the kids corn dog and fries and she loved it. She kept telling us how yummy is was. My husband had the teriyaki bowl and he ate the whole thing. He said it tasted great. I had the pulled pork sandwich with fries. OMG I was in heaven. I felt like I had been transported back home to the south. It was a perfect pulled pork sandwich and it was huge! I would highly recommend that any of come enjoy this little slice of the south. The food is great, the employees are wonderful and the atmosphere is great. If you want good, down home style southern BBQ and good eats this is the place to go.

We got ribs, pilled pork, rib tips, and brisket. All of it was amazing. The cornbread was made right and the collards were the best I have ever had. Everything reminded me of the south right down to the perfect sweet tea. This place is a new favorite in SV.
Good food. I have eaten here on occasion, but the real rave for this place is their willingness to do whatever we ask for a catering event. I am coordinating an event for over 100 people, and when I asked if we could do a whole roasted pig, they happily obliged. Big portions and a local business that we should support. Doesn’t hurt that the owner is a vet.
